I got this little s'mores “maker” for H&K this Christmas. She likes her s'mores so I knew she’d get a kick out of this little gadget. It’s just a platform to hold them really, and a container in the back that holds water. I assume this is to keep everything moist and humid in a microwave oven, where two go in for 30 seconds.
I must admit I was a little impressed. The only thing missing is the char from roasting the marshmallow over an open fire. That is more than made up for in my opinion by the fact that the entire thing gets heated evenly. For me, the worst part of a s'more is that you bite through gooey melted marshmallow only to encounter a cold brick of chocolate. This way had the chocolate melted just right.
